New Cleveland Browns owner Jimmy Haslem, who’s purchase of the team was officially approved Tuesday, will name Joe Banner the team’s CEO/president and current president Mike Holmgren will leave the organization, ESPN.com reports.
The former head coach of the Green Bay Packers and Seattle Seahawks took over as Browns CEO/president in 2010. Since then, the teams win loss record stands at an abysmal 10-28.
Haslem has a news conference scheduled for Tuesday afternoon and will announce the Banner move.
