NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has come under fire from players and fans recently over new rules that protect offensive players against violent hits on the field, and Vikings Jared Allen says he would undo everything Goodell has changed.
When asked by Jim Rome on ShowTime what he’d do if he were NFL commissioner, Allen suggested this:
“I’d probably undo everything Roger Goodell’s done,” Allen said. “I’d get football back to its rawest, simplest form, and just take all these, you know, horse-collar tackles, and so-called illegal hits, out. Get football back to its rawest form.”
