Delone Carter buried on initial depth chart

Colts RB Delone Carter is listed 4th on the team's initial depth chart.  He's behind Donald Brown, Mewelde Moore, and Vick Ballard.  This could be a case of the organization sending a message to an underperforming player, but remember that the new coaching staff has no allegiance to the 2011 4th-round pick.  It's clear that Carter hasn't had a strong offseason.  We just bumped him down our rankings.  Moore is listed at #2 for now, but he's just a situational, passing-down option.  Ballard is worth monitoring.  He was a 5th-rounder this past April and plays the kind of power game that new HC Chuck Pagano appreciates.  But the real story here is that Brown seems entrenched as Indy's feature back.  We're still not sold on his talent, but a consistent 20 touches per game would make him a solid RB2 option.
