San Francisco 49ers 34 Minnesota Vikings 14
In the first half Colin Kaepernick was a little off, he went 1 for 7, but then found his rythm and his next 6 passes were on target. He went 7 for 13 for 72 yards and a touchdown. Lavelle Hawkins ran back a kickoff and 49ers held the Vikings to only 14 points.
Colt McCoy looked very sharp and was 11 of 15 for 109 with one costly interception. The 49ers look to be in their tip top shape heading into their first regular season game. McCoy showed he was a playmaker and was named the backup QB behind Kaepernick.
Vikings had many problems across the board. Christian Ponder was hassled through out the game. He was 17 of 23 for 116 and 2 touchdowns. The defense for the Vikings looked tired and have several holding calls.
