During the contest between the Seattle Seahawks and the Chicago Bears this past Sunday, all-pro linebacker Brian Urlacher suffered a strain in his right hamstring. To add insult to injury, the NFL has now fined Urlacher for horse collar tackle he committed during the game, per a league source.
According to the Chicago Sun times, Urlacher was $21,000 by the league for horse collar tackling Seahawks running back Leon Washington on a screen pass.
Urlacher was fined $15,750 the week before for a horse collar tackle against Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson.
Urlacher is expected to miss at least three games with a right hamstring strain, but is likely to appeal the fine.
