Andre Johnson OUT for Week 9

Texans HC Gary Kubiak said that although Andre Johnson practiced Friday he will skip yet another game. "Obviously, he's not ready to go yet," Kubiak said, as reported by the team's website. Johnson hasn't played since Week 4. With a bye looming in Week 11, it's not hard to imagine the team keeping him out again next week. In his absence, the Texans have just 2 WR TDs in 4 games: 1 against Oakland, 1 against Baltimore. The past 2 weeks have produced 0. Obviously, more targets sit available for Kevin Walter and Jacoby Jones when Johnson is out, but neither is a strong play. Cleveland, meanwhile, has allowed the 2nd fewest catches by WRs in the league this year and sit tied for 2nd-fewest WR TDs yielded. TE Joel Dreessen might get the most help from Johnson's continued absence. He has made 9 of his 12 catches in the 4 games without A.J., while seeing 15 of his 20 season targets.
