A First This Season for the Giants

The division leading New York Giants got a little healthier during their bye week.  Head coach Tom Coughlin announced that he expects everyone on the roster to practice today which, if it turns out to be true, would be the first time that’s occurred this season.

Coughlin joked, “I hope we have enough uniforms for these guys.”

Brandon Jacobs, Justin Tuck and Osi Umenyiora appeared on the Giants’ preliminary injury report.

Jacobs (knee) missed the last two games and Tuck (groin/neck) the previous three games, although both practiced on Monday.  Umenyiora has been listed on the injury report due to his knee surgery from the summer and he has missed some practices as a precaution, although he has a sack in each of the last three games.

Snee sat out the Giants’ last game with a concussion suffered the previously week, but he has passed all medical tests and worked out on Monday.

Other players on the injury report that Coughlin hopes to get back on the field include linebacker Michael Boley (knee), fullback Henry Hynoski (neck) and cornerback Prince Amukamara (foot).
