NEW YORK — Fans get pumped up for the NFL Draft, and NFL personnel people get obsessive about their preparations for it. But for a veteran NFL player like Giants’ center Shaun O’Hara, it’s not quite as exciting a night. ProPlayerInsiders.com spoke with O’Hara at a Rookie Debut event in Manhattan just hours before the start of the first round, and he said veterans are happy about the draft only if their team doesn’t draft someone who plays their position. O’Hara must have been relieved when the Giants selected defensive back Prince Amukamara with their first-round pick.
