Seattle, WA- Linebacker Bobby Wagner will be returning to Seahawks training camp this week and there has been no decision on the amount of time that he will participate. Right now, Wagner and the Seahawks organization has been trying to negotiate a new deal. Wagner has been very vocal about a new deal and wants to be paid top dollar for all the things that he has contributed over the years with the Seahawks. He feels like he is the best linebacker in the league and his stats proves that he is worth the amount of money that he is asking for.
Wagner may not play much in traning camp nor practice, because he does not want to risk any injuries like his former partner Earl Thomas did in his contract year. On and off the field, Wagner has been a humble and respected player in the community. He works hard, does not complain, and makes plays when it counts. In his career,
Wagner has had 916 tackles, 16.5 sacks, and 9 interceptions. He rarely misses a tackle and loves to take on the challenges of being the best defender on the field. Only time will tell if the Seahawks could get this deal reconstructed before the start of the season.
