Washington Redskins players are still preparing for the 2011 seasons despite the ongoing NFL lockout. Players from around the country have flown into the D.C. area for workout and fitness regimens as part of a player-organized minicamp.
“It’s that important,” said John Beck, who flew in from San Diego. “It’s about coming out here with your teammates and getting better.”
The minicamp was organized by London Fletcher and players have come in from Texas, Florida and Louisiana. With only 30 players, several guys have been helping out by lining up in unfamiliar positions to help simulate game situations.
