Perhaps we can all stop worrying about those poor Ravens. Baltimore has signed former Denver DE Elvis Dumervil for 5 years at $26 million, according to Pro Football Talk. The deal could reportedly be worth as much as $35 million. Even that higher number would still represent $5.5 million less than former Raven Paul Kruger got from Cleveland in free agency. Dumervil fits the Baltimore D the same way Kruger did and Terrell Suggs does: a hybrid DE-OLB. He also brings a more robust pass-rushing history than Kruger. Dumervil tallied 11 sacks in his final Denver season. He racked up a career-high 17 back in 2009, when the Broncos mixed 3-4 and 4-3 fronts. Dumervil played OLB and DE in that setup.
