The Diamond Duchess decks out the 2013 NFL wives that are headed to the playoffs. Some of the fabulous wives and families that will show up personally outfitted in style include Seahawks’ Mrs. Marcus Trufant, Patriots’ Mrs. Deion Branch, Ravens’ Mrs.Anquan Boldin and Texans’ Matt Schaub family.
Above we have fashionista Mrs. Trufant and her children. Marcus Trufant CB is number 23 for the Seattle Seahawks. Trufant definatly did his job this year to help the team reach the playoffs. He recorded 34 combined tackles with 1 forced fumble. Trufant was selected 11th overall in the 2003 NFL draft by the Seattle Seahawks. He graduated from Washington State with football honors of, Pac-Ten All Freshmen (1999), Honorable mention All Pac-Ten (2001), First Team All Pac-Ten (2002), and second-team AP All American (2002). He was elected to the Pro Bowl in 2007 and was also named All- Pro that same year.
Here we have Mrs. Deion Branch’s get up for her husband’s playoff game. Deion Branch this year had 16 receptions for 145 yards. Branch was picked 65th in the second round of the 2002 NFL Draft by the New England Patriots. He was a standout in college where he played two seasons for John L. Smith, at the University of Louisville. His junior year he led the team with 71 receptions for 1,016 yards and 9 touchdowns. He is a 3 time AFC champion, 2 time Super Bowl Champion, and a Super Bowl MVP of XXXIX.
The Diamond Duchess styles Mrs. Boldin’s attire for her husband’s games as well. Anquan Boldin helped the Ravens reach the playoffs with his 65 receptions for 921 yards and 4 TDs. In Sunday’s Wild Card win over the Colts he caught 5 passes for 145 yards and 1 TD. Boldin was drafted in 2003, 54th overall out of Florida State in the second round by the Arizona Cardinals. For his career he has 772 receptions for 10,165 yards and 58 TDs. He has a few records in his name. For example, most receptions in a rookie season (101),most receiving yards in first career game (217), Most receptions in the first 26 games of an NFL career (157), fastest to record 400 career receptions (in 67 games), fastest to record 500 career receptions (in 80 games), and fastest to record 600 career receptions (in 98 games). He is also a 3 time Pro Bowl selection.
Lastly, the Texans Schaub family has been touched by Leah Miller’s game day creations. The Houston family has quite an extensive custom clothing selection to choose from this playoff season thanks to the Diamond Duchess. Looking ahead to the game against New England on Sunday, Matt Schaub’s QB rating is a 90.7 for the year with 350 completions out of 544. He has 4,008 passing yards and 22 TDs up to this point. Schaub was drafted in 2004 from the University of Virginia, in the third round 90th overall to the Atlanta Falcons. He was selected to be in the Pro Bowl 2 times (2009,2012), was Pro Bowl MVP (2009), 3 time AFC offensive player of the week, and NFL passing yards leader in 2009. You have to remember Schaub was drafted in a QB rich class including Eli Manning, Philip Rivers, and Ben Roethlisberger.
