Cowboys Fans Petition Obama to Remove Jerry Jones

To say the Cowboys have lived up to expectations this season would be a joke in a cruel manner. Dallas, coming off a loss to the Redskins on their designated 4:30 slot Thanksgiving Day, has now dropped to 5-6 on the season and is losing ground to the first place Giants.

Some say the Cowboys poor play is a function of Jason Garrett’s offense, Tony Romo, Dez Bryant, or defensive coordinator Rob Ryan, but for citizens of Texas, the problem is clear.

In the petitions section of the White House website, one was created for President Barack Obama to have Cowboys owner Jerry Jones removed from his control of the Cowboys.

It reads: “We, the Citizens of the Great State of Texas, and Dallas Cowboys fans worldwide, have been oppressed by an over controlling, delusional, oppressive dictator for way too long. Request the Executive Branch’s immediate assistance in removal of owner and GM, Jerry Jones. His incompetence and ego have not only been an extreme disappointment for way too long, but moreover, it has caused extreme mental and emotional duress.”

It’s clear Cowboys fans are fed up and are ready for a change. However, Jerry Jones has stated numerous times he has no interest in relinquishing his duties as owner/general manager, so the citizens of Texas better get used to seeing him in the owners suite.
