According to the Sporting News, Saints RB Pierre Thomas is unlikely to be back at 100% when training camp opens. He’s rehabbing from January ankle surgery. Although P.T. should be fine for Week 1, this might be just the leg up rookie RB Mark Ingram needs to emerge from camp as New Orleans’ lead back.
