The Dolphins have named QB Ryan Tannehill their Week 1 starter. Considered a bit raw coming out of Texas A&M, Tannehill has proven to be surprisingly NFL-ready. He’s been the team’s best QB in camp and preseason action. Of course, that’s not exactly saying much with Matt Moore and David Garrard as his competition. Still, Tannehill has displayed a big-time arm, nice pocket presence, and plenty of athleticism. He’s definitely capable of developing into a top-tier QB. Just don’t expect it to happen this year. There will be plenty of growing pains as he continues to adjust to the NFL game. And he’ll be working with one of the worst WR corps in the league. Tannehill isn’t an option in redraft leagues, but he’s certainly worth stashing in dynasty formats.
