Brandon Stokley is currently running as Denver’s #3 WR. He caught 3 balls for 41 yards from QB Peyton Manning in Saturday night’s preseason game. Stokley’s competition for the job, Andre Caldwell, didn’t see a target from Manning and then suffered a chest injury in the 4th quarter. Stokley appears primed to enter the season as Denver’s slot man. That could give him low-end fantasy value in PPR leagues. Still, we’re not jumping to draft the 36-year-old and still believe Caldwell could pass him in the pecking order later on in the year.
