Here's what Redskins HC Mike Shanahan had to say about his backfield after Sunday's win over the Rams: “We’re going to play the best players. The good thing about it, we've got three football players at the running back position. All three guys can play. All guys have a strength, and we'll play the hot guy.” For now, that "hot guy" is Ryan Torain. He's a talented runner but has been the very definition of injury-prone. We'd bet against him hanging onto the lead role for the entire season. This could also be the wake-up call Tim Hightower needed. He needs to be on fantasy benches for now but is certainly worth hanging on to. Roy Helu, meanwhile, seems stuck in limbo as just a change-of-pace guy.
