Panthers HC Ron Rivera says that RBs DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart will continue to split the workload going forward. Through 3 weeks, Williams has managed just 2.3 yards per carry on 27 chances. Stewart is averaging 3.9 yards on his 23 rushes. Stewart has also been more effective in the passing game, hauling in 13 balls for 140 yards vs. Wiliams' 7 for 46. If it wasn't for the massive contract Carolina handed Williams this offseason, we'd probably already be seeing J-Stew emerge as the lead back here. We still think it'll start swinging that way over the course of the season though.
