The Packers found out Monday that they'll miss veteran FS Nick Collins for the rest of the season. Collins left Sunday's game on a stretcher and will soon head to New York to be checked out by a spine specialist. Specifics beyond that aren't known -- or at least haven't been released -- yet. In his absence, Charlie Peprah stepped into the lineup. Peprah spent most of 2010 starting after then-rookie SS Morgan Burnett suffered a season-ending knee injury. This time around, Burnett is healthy and gaining praise from DC Dom Capers. Burnett might be charged with more deep-coverage responsibilities with Collins out. Peprah is decent but rated middling in every category last year according to ProFootballFocus.com. The team could also choose to play Charles Woodson at FS some, a move that Capers said would likely depend on matchups. Woodson could line up anywhere in the secondary and still contribute fantasy points. We'll see what the IDP impact might be on Burnett, an up-and-comer. Should Woodson play more safety, # 3 CB Sam Shields would see the field more. He started Week 2 for the injured Tramon Williams.
