Tuel Time is well underway in Orchard Park this Sunday.
Undrafted free agent rookie quarterback Jeff Tuel made his first career NFL start Sunday after rising Buffalo’s depth chart this week. After poorly under throwing T.J. Graham on a deep ball in the first quarter, Tuel put a 59 yard pass right on the money to Marquise Goodwin to give the Bills the lead. A pair of field goals by Dan Carpenter and Ryan Succop closed out the scoring in the game.
Other than an interception over the middle, Tuel has looked solid against a defense that has caused the second most turnovers in the league. Tuel went 9 for 15 with 139 passing yards, one touchdown and one interception. Not too shabby for a guy that wasn’t even drafted last April against one of the best defenses in the league.
